The World Data Science Initiative (WDSI) is selecting universities and institutions globally and accrediting over 200 of them on the world’s most advanced vendor-neutral Data Science standards. WDSI is setting up Data Science Centers of Excellence, helping these institutions access future-ready curricula and labs to help their students build knowledge and competence for multiple analytics and machine intelligence platforms faster.
The Initiative brings the world’s best together, with a complete focus on Data Science Talent Development.
Crisscrossing continents, WDSI draws energy from its partner institutions to design, deliver, and promote future-ready Data Science programs based on vendor-neutrality and platform-agnostic learning.
The Initiative actively assists all its member-institutions in embracing vendor-neutral and cross-platform Data Science knowledge frameworks and standards in their undergraduate, Masters, Ph.D. and continuing education programs, besides enabling students to acquire the certifications.
The World Data Science Initiative provides accelerated accreditation on globally respected vendor-neutral, cross-platform, Data Science knowledge frameworks and standards to its member institutions. Under the Initiative, select institutions with potential for strong influence are actively assisted in setting up Data Science Centers of Excellence. This layer of institutions provides critical thought-leadership to the Initiative. The next layer comprises several niche institutions and private universities that are recognized as authorized providers of Data Science learning. The final critical layer involves the identification of teachers across institutions, who will be designated as Distinguished Data Science Professors and as ambassadors of standards-based, vendor-neutral Data Science education.
The World Data Science Initiative is comprised of hundreds of remarkable member-institutions. Each member-university and institution of the Initiative shows an unambiguous intent and high reserves of strategic energy to lead a Data Science education revolution in its country and region. These members also influence the learning, teaching and professional development of Data Science professionals in fellow institutions.
Technology educators from five continents representing over 60 countries unite on the WDSI platform and adopt state-of-the-art mechanisms, systems, techniques, content and curricula of teaching and learning in the Data Science discipline. The Initiative also provides subsidies to institutions from developing countries to facilitate their participation.
All member-institutions get complete content support in the form of books, exam-preparation kits and access to exclusive online and digital learning resources and virtual labs. All students of member-institutions obtain their vendor-neutral Data Science certifications on a subsidized fee structure.
Exclusive instruction, learning, and certification exam preparation content are provided to all institutions that are a part of the World Data Science Initiative as accredited universities or that host International Centers for Data Science. The support includes sets of printed handbooks as well as exclusive access to digital content on the latest in Data Science, AI, and machine learning subjects. Students receive individual login access to access these materials and resources.
Institutions that become formal members of the World Data Science Initiative are provided access to state-of-the-art cloud-powered virtual labs for Data Science learners to practice and master technical skills in analytics, programming, AI and machine learning. These labs include cloud-powered virtual environments from leading companies for Data Science learners to work and contribute on real projects online with 24X7 technical support. Moreover, these labs are versatile, ensuring that students and learners from both technology and non-technology backgrounds can work remotely on projects. This enables all students to earn their vendor-neutral, cross-platform Data Science certifications and prove their worthiness for even the most challenging Data Science assignments.
Member-institutions are also assisted with plans, programs, processes, and strategies to manage the delivery of Data Science programs for a wide variety of learners across educational and professional backgrounds. These include program and course structures, exam management, certification, classroom instruction plans and practical learning.
Member-institutions can be assisted in teacher and trainer development, and onsite programs can be arranged at subsidized costs, deploying certified master-trainers.
If you are a public or a private university, technology or a business school offering data science education, or a government skill-development initiative, you can apply to join the World Data Science Initiative. Do check if your institution has already received an invite for participation.
